A fabulous visceral poem: attack the best form of defense, perhaps, or merely to mask the scars. A great poem and congrats.

Absolutely my pleasure to read. I LOVE it! I actually just wrote one on a very similar topic. I agree! We need to get down and dirty every now and then. Sometimes a lot for a while!

Stingers and zingers from a real mud slinger.
I don’t know who that is, real or not….you made it real.
I need a nap.
Well done.

Wow – that’s super cool. Absolutely crushed her!! I wonder if she’ll ever read it; and if she did I wonder if she’s self-aware enough to see herself in there… Absolutely surgical writing though.
December 10, 2018 at 3:25 pm
Thank you so much!!!! Sometimes we need to write with a bit of a bite.
December 11, 2018 at 7:49 am

Susan, this woman
sounds like a dish
of warm coleslaw.
Yet … not a patch
on my mother-in-law!
December 11, 2018 at 7:51 am
Ha!!!!! You always make me smile, David!!!! And, sorry about the mother in law.

This was such a powerful piece, filled with a venom I’d not seen from you before. Excellent poetry dear friend. 💛
December 13, 2018 at 5:02 pm
Thank you so much, Walt!!! It takes a lot for that side of me to be provoked, but it does happen occasionally and no better way to shed the feelings that to write about them!!!
December 13, 2018 at 8:20 pm
Our great catharsis! 😊

Words can hurt so much. Sometimes I cannot understand whether such people do this deliberately or they are just not aware of what they are doing.
December 14, 2018 at 7:05 am
I think a bit of both. It takes a lot to get me to the point of writing something like that, and I feared that my words might hurt, but I had to express it. I have made sure that certain people will never see the poem.
