Major damage caused, structures completely destroyed. Felt in extremely large regions.

This poem was actually about 1 very specific earthquake when I was in high school. It seems strange to say, but it was an extremely surreal experience. It was as if it happened in slow motion. It was one of those rolling earthquakes, which is a very different sensation from the ones that shake you out of bed. I was fortunate not to be in Los Angeles, for the earthquake in 94 (?).

Oh my, so it actually happened.
I saw it as a love earthquake, which makes it a pretty erotic poem.

Are you kidding – I love you!!! I feel bad that I revealed that it was about an actual earthquake. I should just leave it to the reader once it is out in the world. I love that you interpreted it that way. Hold onto it – it is much better than the reality! I have been sick and away for a bit and I have to say…I missed you lady!!!!!
