I wasn’t expecting this one to come out today as well, but I am thrilled! My huge thanks to editor Veronica Bruce! 3 of my poems will be in Anapest (a part of The Paragon Journal); this one is called, “My Mother’s Breaking Body”

God Susan. Are you trying to kill me today? One shot was enough, thank you very much. I’m down.
In short, you create such powerful imagery in your writing my dear (esp. your poems) that it hurts. Raw, moving, and piercing it is. You, consciously or not, use all five senses. Your poetry talks, and is tangible, I can not only hear it, I can almost taste it and smell it.

Wow!!!! This is the most beautiful thing anyone has ever said about my poetry. I am so incredibly moved and grateful and honored that you feel this way Bojana. What you have said to me is the best thing a writer can hear, especially a poet; it is what I always hope my poetry will achieve. I have chills from this comment! Thank you so much!
